I have known lots of people who have had a sick child that has spent time in the nicu who lived in the city and that is challenging enough let alone living in the country. Ronald McDonald house is an amazing place for families with sick children to stay to take away the worry and expense of having to stay in a hotel during this hard time in their lives. The house is also close to my heart because we lost my frat nephew when he was two days old and it warms my heart seeing the comforts of the house and how it feels like home.
