Campaign Goal
Together we are raising $500 for Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland & Labrador.
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Thank you a million times over to everyone that supported us during this campaign!!! We cant say thank you enough!!! Through this online page and EMT's and cash donations we were able to collect a little over $16,000 for an absolutely deserving cause !!! We will be closing this fundraiser today but keep an eye out in early January 2021 when we open up the campaign for next year!! We will be putting out a community challenge province wide during the month of June and then in July the Momma's Dream Team will take on the challenge of actually biking from St Barbe to the doors of the RMH in St Johns!! So keep your eyes out for us!! We got an exciting year ahead!! ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************* ********SOME EXCITING NEWS FOR KILOMETRES FOR KIDS *********** Some exciting news to date!! We are enjoying this fundraiser sooo much that we have decided to extend our dates and kms. This has been a fun journey that hopefully we can turn into an annual thing. We will be working together to complete enough kms to bike to the RMHC in St. John's from Labrador City in total. Totaling 2054kms, we now have 1440.27kms down and plenty more rides to go 🥰 We will keep the kilometres going !! We need you to keep the support going !! Thank you so much to everyone who have so generously donated !! It is appreciated beyond words !!! ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Gerri-Lynn and April, along with their small boys started this idea as their way of supporting a charity that is near and dear to their hearts. As word and excitement grew , the team has expanded to include myself, Kim Hartery, Michelle Turpin and Kayla Edwards. RMHC is near and dear to the hearts of all here in Labrador West. We all know of someone that has had to spend a night or many of nights at this home away from home. A place that offers comfort to families in their most trying times. We all have goals set for the month of June and yes being that we live in Labrador some of this will be completed in snow!!! Gerri-Lynn, April and myself will be biking 300 KMs Kayla will be walking/ running 75 KMs Michelle will be biking/waking/running 160 KMs We cant thank you enough for supporting us and this amazing cause!!!

Donating to this wonderful organization is one of the best things we will continue to do every year. There will never be enough words to describe how grateful we were to receive the support of the Ronald McDonald House and it’s volunteers during our stay there, while being by Andrew’s side until he came to pass. Our family had the pleasure and was overwhelmed to have been asked and to be part of the unveiling of the IOC room sponsorship at the St. John’s, NL Ronald McDonald House. We have also had the opportunity to benefit from the kindness offered at the Ronald McDonald Room at the IWK when our oldest son had major neurosurgery at the age of 8. He is now 20 and just finished his second year of university. We are forever thankful. We only met Andrew briefly while he was at the IWK. A beautiful baby with his amazing family by his side. ❤
