Baby Fundraiser

The mother of my 4 children and I split up 5 yrs ago. 2 yrs ago she got pregnant from another man and was going to have a baby girl. My 4 children were excited for this only to learn that baby Layla was going to die shortly after being born. The nurse that explained to my children why this was going to happen was very carefull in her words and taught my children of her small skeletal disease that would be the death of her shortly after birth. Baby Layla was born and survived for the next 3 months. The will to live in this child was unmatched to anything I have ever seen. Sadly Layla passed away due to breathing complications and If it wasnt for the wonderfull and amazing support and care from Ronald Macdonald houses, my children would not have got to know their baby sister before she passed away and Baby Layla would not have lived as long as she did, even though 3 months is not even a percentage of a life. I am fighting tears as I am typing this email to you, and even though Layla was not my child, I still feel the pain for my children. The past couple years have been easier to deal with our loss and I still gratefull for the Ronald Macdonald Foundation and all they have helped my children and me with. God Bless this foundation and its employees and I am making it my mission to fund raise for this charity in any way I can. Thankyou for your time and for listening to my story.
