Christopher's 1st birthday

Ends: November 25, 2023

On January 1st, 2023, at five weeks old, Christopher was diagnosed with RSV Bronchiolitis and was admitted to the PICU at McMaster Children's Hospital. During this time, I was very moved by the support I received in the RMHC South Central Ontario Family Room. In my coming and going, they provided warm coffee, snacks, comfort, a sense of normalcy and a home away from home. It was a small gesture, but it made a significant impact. At that moment, I promised myself that we would celebrate his first birthday with thanksgiving and pay forward the kindness and hospitality we received.
