McHappy Day 2025 - Bartlett Family Restaurants
Campaign Goal
Together we are raising $10,000 for Ronald McDonald Family Rooms Scarborough.
To our community partners, employees, family, and friends, Thank you for teaming up with us in supporting Toronto Ronald McDonald House for the sixth year of our McHappy Day Hero Program! Our Late Founder and Chairman George Cohon once told me, “When we do business in communities in which we operate, we need to do our part to give back to those communities that give to us.” I have not forgotten that business philosophy, and I continue to mentor my staff to do the same. Our charitable efforts began +31 years ago helping support the Rick Hanson Man in Motion campaign, which we raised $27,000.00. The feeling of accomplishment during this campaign was truly life-changing for me, over the years we have raised funds to support Variety Village from our annual Cruise for Kids charity events, we also introduced many campaigns over the years with significant donations to local charities in Toronto and Scarborough. As a father of three and a grandfather of four, I understand the importance of improving healthcare for our children. We have donated well over $150,000.00 to the Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital (SHN), with our Save Time Save Lives campaign, Buy a Bed campaign, and most recently supported the Front-line worker’s campaign. We just completed our pledge commitment of $50,000.00 which went towards the Medical Imaging and Vascular Centre at Scarborough General, which is now operational. We continue to support our three Family Rooms inside Scarborough Centenary and Markham Stouffville Hospitals as part of our efforts for McHappy Day 2025. We also aim to raise significant funds for the Ronald McDonald House Toronto. All donations will go directly toward the operating costs of these Family Rooms. Last year, Bartlett Family Restaurants raised over $45,000 for Ronald McDonald House Toronto, thanks to your generosity and the efforts of our restaurant teams. Did you know that by raising just $328 from your family, friends, and co-workers, you can help operate a Family Room for one day? Just imagine the impact you can have on the lives of families who rely on these spaces every day. In 2025, we hope to raise another $10,000 through our Hero Program.
