Nancy Spilberg 5km Swim

Nancy Spilberg started swimming with a vision to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto. In July 2023, Nancy will be swimming 5km through the open waters of Lake Ontario. Her connection to Ronald McDonald House starts with her family and she has since wanted to make a difference for all families who need help to get through the most difficult moments of their lives. Since 1981, RMHC has been a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. Childhood illnesses and injuries have not stopped and we need help more than ever. Children are still diagnosed with cancer or need lifesaving surgery, and babies are still born premature. In order to access the medical care that their child needs, many families need to travel great distances to and from home. We are relying on support from donors like you to ensure that we can continue to help families in need. Parents tell us that the most important thing is staying by their child’s side – every step of the way. You can offer families the comfort of being together and so much more.
