6 months ago today, our beautiful nephew Theodore was born. Theodore spent 3 weeks in the NICU at McMaster Hospital before he went to his eternal home in heaven. During those 3 weeks, we saw first hand the impact that Ronald McDonald House Charities has on families. It provided Malinder and Tyler a room so they would be close to their son, the room is available at a fraction of the actual cost so it provided them some financial security, it provided them food both in the house and at the hospital so they didn't have to worry, and it provided them a safe space among others families going through similar situations. Ronald McDonald is a non-profit organization, and most of the services are run by volunteers.
