RMHCSCO - We are somebody's type!
I’m raising $2,500 for RMHC Canada.

Ends: September 30, 2017
Here at the Ronald McDonald House South Central Ontario 12% of the families staying with us have a child being treated in the oncology unit over at McMaster Children's Hospital. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and staff members will be fundraising for the House while raising awareness for a cause that is near and dear to many of our families. As staff members we are witness to the struggles and stresses that families of a seriously ill child being treated at a hospital far from home can face. Did you know: a child battling leukemia could require up to 8 units of blood per week, and Canada is facing a nationwide shortage of blood donors. Leukemia is the most common cancer in children and teens accounting for approximately 1 out of every 3 cases. Whether it be childhood cancer, a premature birth or an unforeseen accident that changes the course of life for a child and their family, blood is an essential part of the recovery and healing process for these families - and we are ready to give. The staff and volunteers at RMHCSCO will be raising funds throughout the months of August and September and we will cap off our fundraising efforts with a blood drive. Please help us support our families by making a donation to our Make Fun Matter campaign!
