Give Back for Ethan

This year cancer took a very special soul, a little boy our family knew and loved. On January 18th 2019 Weston's dear friend Ethan lost his battle after a long, brave fight. Weston and I met Ethan and his family while staying in Holland Bloorview. We were roommates and became so much more then that, we became friends. His mother became someone who understood our struggles, who sympathized and never judged. She always had such a positive outlook even on the worst days, I think that's where Ethan got it from. Ethan was amazing. He smiled though things were hard, he giggled after having a horrible day. The boys were inseparable. We have kept in touch after leaving Bloorview, met up to play in the park and would send pictures and videos whenever possible. Through ever struggle Ethan and his family always faced it with courage and strength and that is why Briley and I have decided to cut our hair and donate it to children with cancer. While planning to do this I made the decision to also fundraise for Ronald McDonald House Toronto, a place where my family and Ethan's were lucky enough to stay when things got rough. So let's Give Back For Ethan!
