What is McHappy Day?

Every year, McDonald’s® Canada franchisees and Crew across the country host McHappy Day, an annual day of community giving to support Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children’s charities across Canada.

Who are you helping on McHappy Day?

Today, RMHC® supports more than 25,000 families every year. Since the first House opened in Toronto in 1981, RMHC Canada has helped 362,935 families with sick children stay together.

How to support RMHC on McHappy Day

Visit a McDonald’s Restaurant on Wednesday, May 8th and order a Big Mac®, Happy Meal® or hot McCafé® beverage. On McHappy Day, $1 from each of these menu items is donated to RMHC and local children’s charities across Canada. Find a restaurant
