When we found out about my cousin had diagnosed with Leukemia Cancer, we felt so devastated. He was about 5 years old when he got it. His parents had worked very hard and tried to find good medications for him to beat this cancer. They brought him to Netherlands to see an expert and while their son was getting a treatment, they stayed in Ronald McDonald's House not far from the Hospital. I remembered they have been away for months and months and being at Ronald McDonald's House kept them together even though their son was getting his treatments. And for their son, being at Ronald McDonald's not only kept him being a kid and not worry about how it would hurt him during his treatments but being able to be with his parents is the most important thing in his world. Ronald McDonald's House in Saskatchewan is expanding its wings to make sick kids being able to be kids and be their families.
