Brendan and Jonathan's Run For The Ronald McDonald House

Did you know @takethettc currently has four lines, 76.5 kilometres of track, and 75 stations? When our friends at @runcrs announced the return of the TTC Challenge where participants can run the distance of each line through December 15th, @brecarperuns and I decided to run it together, but with an emphasis on the challenge part! That’s why we decided to run all four subway lines in one go! . We mapped out a route that will ensure we visit all 75 stations and the total distance is 101 KILOMETRES! Coincidentally, the TTC recently celebrated their 100th Anniversary; we just couldn’t figure out how to run just 100 kilometres. We plan on attempting this run on Saturday, December 4th and in the coming weeks, we’ll share details on the route, how to track us (no pun intended), and how you can join us for part (or all) of the route! I haven’t run more than 50 kilometres in the past, so I’m more than prepared! . We’ve also decided we wanted to raise money for a worthy cause in the process, so we’ve chosen the Ronald McDonald House of Ontario. Your donation helps them keep families together and close to their seriously ill child while they’re being treated in a nearby hospital.
