Walk for Noah
Campaign Goal
Together we are raising $6,500 for RMHC South Central Ontario.
October 29th of 2021, the community of Oakville lost one of our finest young men in a tragic car accident. Noah Ferrusi was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend, and co-worker to so many people. Noah was so blessed to have a group of friends that were like his brothers and sisters, he would do anything for any of them and we know they would do the same. Noah attended St. Ignatius of Loyola High School here in Oakville. He was tremendously hard-working, so it was not surprising when soon after he turned fifteen, he got his first job at McDonalds (Piper Foods). Noah particularly loved working on McHappy Day and RMHCSCO was his favourite charity. Soon after graduation he became an apprentice at Cro-Tech electrical where he fulfilled his career path of becoming an electrician. Those closest to him would say that he loved to make other people happy and would go out of his way to achieve that.

Please join us as we celebrate Noah’s life in a “WALK FOR NOAH” on July 10th at Abbey Park High School field. The walk signifies the impact that Noah made on everyone he knew. It’s about people that cared about him coming together to celebrate and remember him in appreciation for the difference he made in so many peoples lives. We will meet as a group, hear an address from Noah’s parents, walk together (approx. 3 KM), followed by sharing a drink, snack, and special memories of Noah. We look forward to seeing you there! July 5 update! First off, thanks to everyone for your generous donations. We have almost reached our goal of $5, 000!! We are very excited for this Sunday as we now have 75 people attending the Walk for Noah. This is amazing and shows how much Noah was loved by us all. The plan is for everyone to meet at 10am on the field behind Abbey Park high school. We will have refreshments available. Unfortunately the high school washrooms will not be open, but McDonald's and Tim Horton's are both nearby should anyone need a washroom. At 10:45am, Noah's parents will address the attendees to share their thoughts. At 11am, the walk will begin, lead by Greg Westover who will coordinate everyone. Once complete, everyone everyone is encouraged to have some refreshments and talk about their fond memories of Noah.
