Supporting Fundraiser Goal
I’m raising $500 for RMHC Newfoundland and Labrador.
The RMHC has been our home away from home several times. From the very first day the house open in St. John's up until a couple of years ago, we had spent a bit of time there. Being so close to the hospital, it was so amazing. Having a place to meet new people, a place to have a home cooked meal, and a comfortable place to catch up on some much needed rest. The house and staff is not just about that. They are there to keep families close together even when they have to be apart. I personally was a recipient of this wonderful gift. Having one child in the hospital and the other on the opposite side of the island isn't always easy. It was Mother's Day and my oldest boy was preparing for his ACR with cadets. The management and staff had just paired with PAL airlines. I was informed that I would be able to fly out that morning and return again that evening at no cost to me. It was the most wonderful day that a Mother could have dreamed of. The day was extremely full and many emotions. I will be forever grateful for the experiences and time spent at our RMHC. To all my families and friends, please donate to this very worthy charity.
