Dear Friends, Having a child who requires hospital care can be difficult enough without imagining the stress of finding a place to stay so that you can be close to your child during this trying time. Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to stay, a place that becomes home for many families while their child is treated in hospital near by. The physical and mental well being of not only the sick child, but the family is so dependent on families staying together. Keeping everyone close, to support each other provides a strength that is needed and allows everyone to stay updated and witness the progress and support each other through the setbacks and challenges that arise. Ronald McDonald House provides so much more that just a room, it’s a place to stay, sleep, do laundry and provide home cooked meals for families, allowing them to maintain the routines and comfort they are used to at home. Donating to this wonderful cause helps these families stay close to their sick child in a home setting, and when families stay together, sick children get stronger. To our community Partners, Employees, Family, and Friends, thank you for teaming up with us in support of Toronto Ronald McDonald House Charities. Over the years you have supported us as we raised funds for various local charities in Toronto and Scarborough by donating to the Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital (SHN), with our Save Time Save Lives campaign, Buy a Bed campaign, and most recently Supported the Front line workers campaign. With your generosity, this McHappy Day we hope to raise significant donations for the Toronto Ronald McDonald House, with all funds donated going directly to the operating costs of the 2 family rooms in Scarborough Centenary Hospital. There are many ways to donate, including visiting our McDonald’s on May 8, 2024 – McHappy Day, every dollar counts. If you want to do more… You can help by donating or raising the funds to operate the cost of a room for one full day by raising $328 from your friends, family, and co-workers. Help us raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Canada to help families who need a place to stay when their child is in the hospital. We are excited to work as a team, and as a community to raise funds for this great cause! Thank-you for your support! Please donate if you can. Every dollar helps.

McHappy Day Celebrations ! Its that time of the year again and we are reaching out to ask for your support for our yearly campaign for Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RMHC) across Canada and local children’s charities in our community. Please join us on May 8, 2024 at our Morningside or Milner Walmart locations and join in the fun and help raise funds for this worthy cause. Exciting games are in store for the entire family. We are looking forward to seeing you at our McDonald's located at Morningside/ Kingston Rd or at our McDonalds located in the Walmart at 799 Milner Ave. 10% of all product sales on McHappy Day and 100% of donations funds raised will support RMHC and local children’s charities in your community and across the country.
