Upper Wentworth McHappy Day 2025

McHappy Day is back - May 8, 2025! McHappy Day is an incredible asset to our families in need of support across Canada, each year it raises millions of dollars for RMHC and other local charities, together as a community, we can help give families a place to stay together, close to their sick child in hospital. In Canada, 65% of families live outside a city with a children's hospital and must travel for treatment if their child is seriously ill. The 16 Ronald McDonald Houses provide out-of-town families with a home to stay at while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital, while the 17 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide a comfortable place for families to rest and recharge, right inside hospitals. The Upper Wentworth team is excited to be fundraising for the Hamilton house and being able to give back to the communities that give so much to us each day. It is one of our favorite days of the year, and we love watching our communities come together to support each other. There are 3 very easy ways you can support us in our fundraising goals: 1. If you can, donate here to our fundraiser. Every little bit helps 2. Set up a fundraiser under our umbrella with your workplace, family or friends and help us achieve our fundraising goals. 3. Come on in to your local McDonald's on May 8th. 10% of all sales on May 8th goes directly to the RMHC. 100% of donations go to the RMHC South Central Location
