OASIS 2017 ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT Ronald McDonald House Charities "When you support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) you are giving families what they need the most: each other. It becomes a home away from home for families of seriously ill children to heal better together - RMHC" As parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles we all know how stressful it is when you have a sick child, this is only compounded when your child is critically ill and needs specialized treatment in a hospital far from home. Our niece and her husband welcomed a beautiful baby boy last summer.It soon became apparent that something was very wrong.He was rushed to London and within hours airlifted to Children's Hospital in Toronto.It was totally overwhelming. Ronald McDonald House became home over the next couple months.It was one less thing to worry about, a place to rest, and a place to receive support on the tough days.They were also able to have their two older children join them from time to time which was also important. Our family will be forever grateful for the care and support our niece, her husband and family received from everyone at Ronald McDonald House-Toronto and Children’s Hospital. Take the opportunity to “pay it forward”come out for a great day of golf and boost our donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities –Toronto ---Peter & Wanda The RMHC Toronto can accommodate 81 families and is located a short walk from both Sick Children’s Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital. Last year alone there were over 4,000 families served from not only Ontario but across Canada and around the world. The House offers more than 30 programs to provide families with support, some fun and relaxation during very stressful times. The actual cost to accommodate one family is $155 per night. Thru the generous donations received families are asked to contribute only $15 per night. .
