When a child is seriously ill caregivers often find themselves traveling far from home for required medical care. That's why Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario provides welcoming home environments that give families emotional and physical comfort and support as they stay close. For the last 5 years Doreen, Linda, Mac and I have supported this tremendous organization by participating in their annual curling bonspiel. Although our curling has been inconsistent (we somehow managed to win it all in 2016!) we have excelled at the theme or costume challenge part of the day. We have won this for the last 3 years. Under Linda's creative leadership and her tireless construction we have been the band the B52's for an 80's theme, Mounties to celebrate Canada 150 and the Canadian Bobsled team as part of the Winter Olympics theme. This year's theme is 3rd Rock - The Space Odyssey and Linda has spent the last month at NASA in pursuit of our 4peat. Please help us support the families of Southwestern Ontario!
