During September 2024, Ronald McDonald House Charities Newfoundland and Labrador will host the annual Red Shoe Crew Walk for Families event in communities across the province. The St. John's Red Shoe Crew - Walk for Families event will take place in Bowring Park (the Bob Whelan Field, across from the playground) on Saturday, September 21st. Register today at www.WalkForFamilies.ca/stjohns, we will have fun for the whole family including bounce houses, face painting, characters and more! RMHCNL allows families with a sick or injured child stay close to each other and the care and resources they require during some of the most difficult times for a family. As we celebrate 12 years of RMHCNL, we know that the mission is still as important as it was in September 2012 when Our House first opened their doors to the first families. The Red Shoe Crew Walk for Families is an important and fun initiative that will help raise awareness and funds to provide a home away from home for sick children and their families when they need it most. This event is one of the largest annual fundraising campaigns for Ronald McDonald House raising more than $245,000 in NL in 2023. Funds raised will ensure that families of sick children will have everything they need as they face difficult situations. This year we plan to surpass last year’s total and we need your help to do that!
