Ronald McDonald House Toronto is a nurturing and magical home-away-from-home for sick children and their families where, together, their lives are enhanced through unconditional support, encouragement, friendship and love. Today, Canada is home to 15 Ronald McDonald Houses, 16 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and one Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. Ronald McDonald Houses provide a place for families to stay while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital. Thanks to medical advances, more and more children are winning their battles but the healing is taking longer, with more treatments, over longer periods of time. This means the demand for a bedroom and support from a Ronald McDonald House continues to outpace availability – sadly, some Houses have to turn families of seriously ill children away. With your help, we will be able to reach more families, and help our Ontario kids heal better and faster.
