Stephen's Walk for Families

When I started volunteering as a Family Services Volunteer with RMHC NL shortly after Our House opened in 2012 I immediately seen the impact this home had on families in our province with a sick or injured child. Since then I have continued as a dedicated Family Services volunteer, but have also taken on other volunteer roles such as Regional Development Coordinator for the Metro region, Red Shoe Crew event leader, and other various event committees. I was also fortunate enough to spend three summers working with the Development office as the Canada Summer Jobs student. Through these different roles I have also seen the enormous generosity of people who also understand the importance of keeping families close during some of their most difficult times.
