This page is capturing the funds raised through knitting related proceeds In honour of our nephew Lyam, who has spent the past 8 months at Sick Kids and the Ronald McDonald House, to thank them for everything they’ve done. When I first met Lyam back in September he was a completely different child. He was so tiny and sick that it broke my heart. During his stay here, the support that he and his family received through this wonderful charity helped reverse all of that. He slowly blossomed into a cheerful, happy and healthy little boy. Having personally watched this transformation, I can tell you that so much of it is due to the wonderful work that they do here. From providing a safe place to stay, and healthy meals, to surprising people with thoughtfulness and fun activities. During this tough time, when resources are stretched the most, the Ronald McDonald House needs all the help they can get. As a knitwear designer and instructor, I’m putting my own creativity out there to help raise funds. The outpouring of support from my community has been tremendous. Join me in helping Ronald McDonald House show the families who need this support that there’s hope and a brighter day ahead, just like there was for our little hero Lyam!
