Red Shoe Crew-Walk for Families in Labrador West September 1-30, 2020 Walk When you Want, Where you Want In the month of September The annual Red Shoe Crew-Walk for Families helps raise awareness and funds to provide programs and services for sick children and their families when they need it most. This event is hosted by volunteers and held in September in communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The event coincides with the anniversary of the opening of Ronald McDonald House and is the largest annual fundraising event. Participants will register online, fundraise and then walk or run for fun, prizes and ultimately help sick children and their families be close to each other and the medical care and resources they need. Given the Public Health Restrictions this year, this event will have more flexibility for participants to Walk When they Want, Where they Want in the month of September. Should Public Health Restrictions allow it, a celebration in the community may follow the walk. All funds raise in this fundraiser or fundraisers created under this one will go towards Labrador West's total and will ultimately help RMHC NL reach their full provincial goal of $250,000. Let’s show the province what Labrador West can do and raise as much as possible!
